Man who impersonates female prostitutes arrested in Benue

The Benue State Police Command have arrested a 19-year-old man who pretends to be a female prostitute to sleep with men in hotels in the state.
Punch reports that the suspect, Ushahemba Yaapera, had been impersonating female prostitutes with the name Jennifer Kpaakpa for the past five years and was apprehended during a raid at a brothel along the railway bye pass at high-level area of Makurdi, the state capital.
A statement from the state police command states that Yaapera is a homosexual who has slept with over 1000 men since he started the shameful business and had been seen at different brothels at night soliciting for customers just like other prostitutes.

In an interview with newsmen during his parade at the state police command headquarter, Yaapera, he claimed that his classmates in secondary school initiated her to the mermaid world five years ago and that he transforms into a woman at night.
"For the past five years, I have operated like a woman. At night, I would stand on the road as a prostitute and men would pick me up at an agreed price.
Usually, the female organ would manifest during my operations but at day time, I will remain in my normal masculine state and so far, I have slept with over 1000 men," he said.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Bashir Makama who paraded the suspect alongside others for various crime on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, said the raid was conducted at the said brothel by police operatives following a report of theft.
"Upon search, one Jenifer Kpaakpa dressed as a female was discovered to be a man whose real name is Ushahemba Yaapera. The DPO [woman], conducted the body search on all suspects because they were females and in the process, discovered the suspect was a man after all."

CP Makama said the matter is being investigated and that scientific test would be conducted on the suspect before he would be charged to court for unnatural offenses.
