It was 11months ago a container fell and crushed a fully loaded commuter bus containing OOU students, killing all passengers of the bus at Sagamu/Benin Expressway at Ilishan, very close to Sagamu junction. 7 year-old boy burnt alive for stealing in Lagos  A 7 year-old boy was beaten and burnt alive in the Badagry area of  Lagos , for allegedly attempting to steal garri from a trader’s shop. According to reports, the boy was seen by eyewitnesses trying to break into a shop where food are sold in the early hours of Tuesday November 15, 2016. The little boy was nabbed by some men in the area, beaten and set ablaze by the mob despite pleas from the public since he did not actually commit the crime. Video was removed as a result of the nature of the graphics Some other sources and eyewitness are posting on  social media  that the boy stabbed a pregnant woman to death after unsuccessfully attempting to steal her phone. Naira continues recovery against Dollar at parallel market, appreciates to N379/$1 The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) yesterday injected $205 million into the foreign exchange market even as the naira depreciated to N379 per dollar in the parallel market. According to Okoroafor: “The CBN again injected over $205 million in to the foreign exchange market. “A breakdown of what market watchers termed as another massive intervention indicated that the sum of $100 million was released for the wholesale segment of the market for both spots and forwards. “Also, Basic Travel Allowance (BTA) which comes under invisibles segment garnered $50 million while the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME) segment got $55 million. I was revealed that the parallel market exchange rate rose to N379 per dollar at the close of business yesterday from N375 per dollar on Friday. Father jailed for turning daughter into his sex toy  A 51-year-old electrician,  Folorunsho Oluwaseun , has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly raping his 17-year-old daughter repeatedly, Punch reports. Oluwaseun was arraigned at the Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos State for turning his own daughter into his sex machine after he separated from the teenager's mother.
